Unboxing and Setup
Setting up the SaunaBox was very easy in comparison to some of the other wellness products I’ve attempted to build. The founders have done a great job providing detailed, easy-to-read instructions as well as a clear step-by-step video tutorial on how exactly the pieces fit together. It wasn’t a simple 10-minute build like I had hoped, as I had a lot of challenges surrounding the rails with the tent, without ripping it but the overall process was simple. I would definitely recommend putting it together with at least 2 people if possible, to speed up the process and avoid any mishaps.
Build Quality
The Sauna Box impressed me with its high-quality, antimicrobial, polyester tent fabric and various certifications that ensured the materials provided were non-toxic and microplastic-free. I wasn’t a fan however of the fiberglass poles as although the fiberglass prevents rusting and ensures durability, they weren’t as sturdy as I would like and could be bent if not handled carefully. Nonetheless, this could just be me finding faults as the overall construction was sturdy once set up and provided a comfortable and safe sauna experience.

Using the SaunaBox is a very straightforward process. Simply fill the steam generator outside the tent with distilled water (distilled prevents the growth of bacteria), twist and lock the lid of the steamer, set the timer and steam level, and wait for 20-25 minutes for it to heat up. Once ready, step in, relax, and enjoy the steam room. One thing to keep in mind is that you will have to refill the water tank every few sessions but besides this, it’s an effortless process.
The steam room itself is quiet, dark, and perfect for meditation or quiet contemplation while the intense heat induces a profuse sweat, and provides a rejuvenating experience. The product arrives with a foldable chair that you can place inside the tent to sit on or choose to stand. I personally found the chair too low to the ground but liked that I had the option to sit if I wanted to.

After use it is recommended to leave the door flap open to air it out and then wipe down the water vapor on the inside of the walls with a towel. The inside of the heat-insulated cover is designed to help prevent mold and bacteria build-up and doesn't need thorough cleaning while the sweat mat at the bottom of the sauna is machine washable.
